The Carsey-Wolf Center is committed to screening documentaries from across the world that engage with contemporary and historical issues, especially regarding social justice and environmental concerns. Documentaries allow filmmakers to address pressing issues and frame the critical debates of our time.

Our documentary events promote vital dialogue by allowing audiences to engage with films and filmmakers in a post-screening discussion. Past events have included Knock Down the House with producer Sarah Olson and documentary subject Cori Bush, Crystal Voyager with director David Elfick and author Garth Murphy, RBG with co-directors Betsy West and Julie Cohen, Floyd Norman: An Animated Life with animator Floyd Norman, Free Angela & All Political Prisoners with Dr. Angela Davis and Producer Sidra Smith, 40 Years a Prisoner with activist and documentary subject Mike Africa Jr, and Crip Camp with co-directors and producers Jim Lebrecht and Nicole Newnham.
