Are you passionate about film and television? Do you want to build skills in public event production and theater management? Our student staff play a key role in supporting the work of the Carsey-Wolf Center and providing Pollock Theater patrons with a memorable moviegoing experience. From pre-event promotional work to on-site guest and box office services, student staff gain valuable experience while working in a stimulating environment that provides access to exciting film, compelling television, and leading industry professionals from around the globe. Our staff members use industry standard broadcast and production equipment to help create multi-camera recordings of our events for presentation on UCTV.
No previous media production experience is necessary and all student staff are provided with on-the-job production training. Applicants must have strong leadership and customer service skills, a desire to learn how to use media equipment, and a passion for film, television, and other forms of screen art. All student staff members are encouraged to engage actively with Carsey-Wolf Center programming and use their position as a learning experience.
Three positions are available involving different time commitments: Carsey-Wolf Student Staff, Carsey-Wolf Event Staff, and Sound and Audio Assistant.

They also assist with guest services, event management, and multi-camera video production during evening Pollock Theater events approximately twice a week. Evening event hours are usually 4-10 PM, and occasional weekend matinee event hours are 12-5 PM.
