The Carsey-Wolf Center supports research in five main areas that reflect the scope and depth of media studies as a field: Media Industries, Media and the Environment, Global Media, Information Media and Media and Democracy. The Center’s research activities include long-term publishing initiatives, scholarly lectures and conferences, and academically-oriented public programs at the Pollock Theater.
