Juan of the Dead

  • Wednesday, October 30, 2013 / 7:00 PM (PDT)
  • Pollock Theater
  • Screening Format: Blu-Ray (100 Minutes)
  • With Alejandro Brugues (Writer/Director)

The Pollock Theater’s first Film Festival showcases the diverse talents of emerging Cuban filmmakers. With state-of-the-art presentation and post screening Q&A’s with directors, this festival offers a unique experience that should not be missed.

A group of slackers face off against an army of zombies. The Cuban government and media claim the living dead are dissidents revolting against the government.

We were joined for a post-screening Q&A with Writer/Director Alejandro Brugues, moderated by the Department of Film and Media Studies Chair Cristina Venegas.

This event is sponsored by the Carsey-Wolf Center and the Department of Film & Media Studies.
