“Area Studies, Media Studies, and the Location of Knowledge Production”
Inviting both scholars and graduate students working on East Asian media and their local critical discourse, the proposed workshop will establish a new platform that can effectively criticize the domination of Western languages in the creation and dissemination of theory/knowledge. This project is a recipient of a Fall 2017 Carsey-Wolf Center Faculty Research Support Grant.
