Partizan
During my two months at Partizan, I worked on four professional sets, assisted five of the LA executives, and created a phenomenal network of producers and assistant directors. Though the labor is unpaid and the hours can be long, this internship was the most hands-on, immersive experience. Working on student sets at UCSB opened my eyes to the sheer manpower involved in creating a 5-minute short film; similarly, I gained a greater appreciation for the creation of larger projects at Partizan. I watched production teams work for 12 hours in the office, then 18 hours on set, then back again to the office to complete finishing details. This internship reminded me of why I love film and media in the first place: it brings so many people together, not only through its creation but also through its distribution.
