Staff

Savannah Parison is the Business Officer for the Film and Media Studies Department and the Carsey-Wolf Center. She supervises  staff and guides both organizations in best practices and adhering to university policy. She has been working at UC Santa Barbara since 2017. Prior to joining the Film and Media Studies Department and the Carsey-Wolf Center, she worked at the College of Creative Studies and the History of Art & Architecture Department.

Savannah holds an M.A. in English Literature from Boston College. One of her favorite films growing up was Singin’ in the Rain, and on a related note, she has no intention to watch A Clockwork Orange. Her favorite film scores include Tron: Legacy and Amélie. She is currently sailing the rocky seas of children’s entertainment options with her young daughter.
