Musicians Joe (Jack Lemmon) and Jerry (Tony Curtis) go incognito with a company of traveling women musicians, including the scintillating Sugar Kane (Marilyn Monroe), after witnessing a mob massacre in Billy Wilder's celebrated comedy. 

David Mandel (Veep, Seinfeld) will join Carsey-Wolf Center Director Patrice Petro for a post-screening discussion. A reception will follow the event in the Michael Douglas Lobby.

From master storyteller Guillermo del Toro comes The Shape of Water, an otherworldly fairy tale set against the backdrop of Cold War-era America circa 1962. In the hidden high-security government laboratory where she works, Elisa (Sally Hawkins) is trapped in a life of isolation. Elisa’s life is changed forever when she and co-worker Zelda (Octavia Spencer) discover a secret classified experiment. Rounding out the cast are Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins, Doug Jones and Michael Stuhlbarg.

UCSB Script to Screen will host Screenwriter Vanessa Taylor for a post-screening Q&A. The event will be moderated by Pollock Theater Director Matt Ryan.
