Citizenfour is a 2014 documentary film directed by Laura Poitras concerning the 2013 NSA spying scandal. Poitras travels to Hong Kong for the first of many meetings with Edward Snowden. The film won the 2015 Oscar™ for “Best Documentary Feature”.

There was a post-screening discussion with Department of Film and Media Studies faculty Lisa Parks, and moderated by Department of Film and Media Studies faculty Jennifer Holt.
