Movie people are legendarily liberal, particularly when it comes to the environment. Now, Hollywood is put to the test as a "green" consultant tries to hold a production team to its commitment to an environmentally-friendly film set.

What starts off with great enthusiasm quickly devolves into this insightful and hilarious film.
Lauren Selman, the green consultant in GreenLit, will be on hand for an audience Q&A after the film screening. She has been involved in the entertainment community in various capacities for over 10 years. As a result of her commitment to the environment and sustainability, she has since shared her findings and has spoken at various conferences, film schools, and production companies, fortune 500 companies, and theaters.

Selman's work has been recognized and featured on BBC, BusinessWeek,Sustainable Industries, The Hollywood Reporter, Reuters, and Traction Magazine. She has also been featured on Digital Buzz Radio, Women on the Air - a radio show giving green tips specifically geared toward women and a girl-powered planet.

Event sponsored by Film and Media Studies Department, Bren School of Environmental Science & Management, LoaTree, UCSB Associated Students Environmental Affairs Board, Environmental Studies Department, and Carsey-Wolf Center.
