February 14-18, the Carsey-Wolf Center presented "For Your Consideration…" to screen all five of the 2012 Oscar-nominated Foreign Films at the Pollock Theater.

On Saturday, July 30th 2011, the Pollock Theater hosted the red carpet short film première Burial, written and directed by Karl Ford and stars the international supermodel Noot Seear.

On June 2nd, The Pollock Theater hosted the first ever Pollock Theater Interns Event. Six enthusiastic Pollock Interns, conceived, planned and directed the Legally Blonde 10th Anniversary event. Screening of the original Legally Blonde film was followed by a Q&A with the most successful women screenwriting team in Hollywood - Kirsten Smith and Karen McCullah Lutz. The evening was fun, informative, insightful and absolutely hilarious.

A full house of 300 students engaged in a spirited Q&A session with Tom Pollock, ex-Chairman of Universal Studios, partner in the Montecito Picture Company, producer of such films as Back to the Future, Field of Dreams and Up in the Air, and son of Joseph and Helene Pollock (theater namesakes).
